On Wednesday night, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that ALL IN: LONDON would be taking place on August 27th from Wembley Stadium in the UK. This alone would have made for an exciting evening, but the night also included several championship matches, including the crowning of FTR as the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. Additionally, Maxwell Jacob Friedman celebrated himself, only to have his moment ruined by “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
The excitement continues this Friday night with a double dose of AEW action from RAMPAGE and BATTLE OF THE BELTS VI. There are four championship matches for fans to enjoy, including a rematch between HOOK and Ethan Page for the FTW Championship. The night will also feature young Billie Starkz getting the opportunity of a lifetime facing TBS Champion Jade Cargill, Orange Cassidy giving LFI’s Dralistico an AEW International Championship bout, and The Lucha Brothers putting the ROH World Tag Team Championship on the line against TNT Champion Powerhouse Hobbs and QT Marshall.
During RAMPAGE, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard will unite with The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) for an 8-man tag match. It remains to be seen if they can co-exist as a unit to achieve success or if they will implode.
The FTW Championship match will be held between HOOK and “All Ego” Ethan Page, under FTW Rules: Falls Count Anywhere, Anything Goes. Ethan Page has been deceived by Matt Hardy and The Firm, but he now has a second chance at the FTW Championship.
Jade Cargill and Taya Valkyrie will have a face-to-face to discuss their future, with Jade taking issue with the fact that they have the same signature move. Finally, Anna JayA.S. will face Julia Hart, marking the first time the two have clashed inside an AEW ring.
All in all, this Friday promises to be another thrilling night of AEW action that fans won’t want to miss.
