AEW Dynamite Preview

This Wednesday night, AEW returns to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for another exciting edition of DYNAMITE, following a busy week of three big AEW events and a loaded edition of ROH ON HONOR CLUB. AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, will be defending his championship against three different individuals who are all in pursuit of the title. Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy, and Darby Allin are all looking to stack up victories to get closer to their goal. Keith Lee will step into the ring with “The Ocho” for the very first time, while Orange Cassidy puts his International Title on the line against The House of Black’s Buddy Matthews.

The action will begin live on TBS and AEWPlus.com for international audiences at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. Fans can catch highlights from recent episodes of DYNAMITE and RAMPAGE, as well as the latest from AEW DARK: ELEVATION, AEW DARK, ROAD TO, THE CONTROL CENTER, and much more on the official AEW YouTube channel.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s home crowd booed him last week in Long Island after Jungle Boy reminded him to keep his eyes open at every moment. Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin also have their sights set on MJF’s championship, and we know both of those men will also do anything to make sure MJF knows his days are numbered. Will MJF make it out of Milwaukee in one piece, or will he leave the UWM Panther Arena like he left UBS a week ago?

The rivalry between Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland is back on, and Swerve comes into it with a whole new set of affiliates. This is a situation where both parties need the win. Will Darby have some Iconic assistance to help balance the scales that Prince Nana will inevitably try to tip in Swerve’s favor, or will he be fighting this fight alone?

Chris Jericho did not anticipate having Keith Lee be the one to get into his face regarding Adam Cole. After all, Lee and Cole are not what one would call bosom buddies, but there is a respect built between the two men as a result of their battles inside the squared circle. Chris Jericho does not have that respect, and as Keith Lee noted, is pretty much the poster child for disrespecting people within the AEW locker room. Keith Lee has taken it upon himself to teach the former AEW World Champion a lesson in respect.

Orange Cassidy puts his International Title on the line against The House of Black’s Buddy Matthews. Will Cassidy be able to retain his title, or will Matthews bring it back to The House of Black? Tune in to find out!
